White Screen after replacing digitizer, lcd and battery

Ok, so I didn't drop the ipod at all for this to happen originally. It was used as a device in my car only, and stayed safely in the center console. Where the car was parked it was close enough for wifi syncing.. so it literally never left the car.

Anywho, one day.. the screen was just white.. This had to have been september or october. So it has sat since then until now when i tried to fix it. I knew already the battery was dead and wouldn't hold a charge for long so I was going to replace it regardless.

I did the LCD, Touch panel and the Battery. Charged it up, restored it.. DFU mode.. jail broken it..

The Ipod still works, like you turn on the white screen and you can still swipe the screen and it will unlock and all that. You hit the power button, and it will lock and turn the screen off. Hold the power button for like 5 seconds, and you can swipe where the power off slider would be and it will shut down.

What the !@#$ is going on here?
