about 1/8 of the screen doesn't work

any ideas on what's the problem? I just got the phone 2 days ago, and realized about the problem yesterday, to make a kind of test, I used one of those paint apps so I know exactly how much of the screen is not working, but sometimes it suddenly works as if everything was fine. I'm not very familiar with new phones, but is there any possibility that the Digitizer is not broken?

I'll try to make it clear what part of the screen is half-working
