iPod with grayed out wifi

board isn't water damaged and the WiFi was working fine i took it apart to put a new screen on screen works fine and so did the WiFi, until i went to put the glue down to seal it and then the WiFi was grayed out when i was testing it one last time, so i did soft reset didn't work i replaced the WiFi cable twice still didn't work i just cant factory reset it, any tips?
