ok this is my problem i took an old xbox360 an switch the drives out because the video card was bad in the one an red ring in other one so i switch them got it working but now it says play dvd , an the game what do i do

Do you mean the disk drive? You cannot just switch out the drives. They are "keyed" to the motherboard. You have to either swap the daughter board off one drive and put on the other one or flash the one you want to the console.
The easier thing would be to repair the one with the RROD.
