Screen is just an icon of a file and a? mark.
When i open my MacBook, the screen is just a picture of a file and a blinking question mark in the middle of the file Folder icon.

You machine cannot find a valid operating system. This could be a corrupt system folder, a failed hard drive or a bas hard drive/ IR cable or a combination of these issues. Try starting up holding down the "R" key and see if you can run Disk Utilities.
