Back lit screen only after replacing power button and power button cab

Power button was hard to turn on...so, I replaced the power button and power cable. Now the screen only has a faint back light will not turn on fully. any suggestions.

Did you remove the screen when replacing power button

Alot of people make the mistake of just bending the lcd forward but this damages it..

If not make sure your connector are seeded correctly

Did not replace screen, it was functioning fine before. Took phone a part twice to make sure connections were good and nothing was bent.

I no you didn't need a screen but was the screen taken out when replacing the power button or did u just bent the lcd and digatizer cables forward to take screws out?

Oh, thank you for clarifying. we just bent the moved the cables to take the the screws out...
