Replaced front panel but touch screen isn't working properly.

I haven't put the adhesive on yet as I wanted to test it before sealing my ipad up. In some parts, the touch screen isn't working as well. Sometimes when i try to type, it would type in the letter multiple times. In others, I cant get the letter to come up. I've tried replugging the digitizer cable (yes I did lock it in as well but the touch screen still doesn't completely work. So far, I managed to get it to three letters not typing. And it works fine everywhere else. Im currently replugging it in hoping it will work perfectly. Is there something Im overlooking?

Bought it here. Before I removed the cracked screen, it was working fine. Cant really test the old screen because that was shattered so badly that it could only come off in pieces. Only reason it stayed together was that I had it in a Griffin Survivor case. But even then, the ipad worked perfectly fine.

Under closer inspection, I can see that one of the connector pins in the socket it plus into on the logics board is slightly bent.
