Replace iPad 3 3G Motherboard with one iPad 3 Wifi Motherboard

Hello Folks,

I'm with a doubt that could not be solved by anyone yet, so I hope some can help me.

I have an iPad 3 Wifi that the only thing working on it is the motherboard, and also have a iPad 3 3G with problem on the motherboard. So what I want to do is replace the 3G motherboard with the Wifi one. That would be possible?

I know that the 3G will not work (obviously), but it will work as an WIFI iPad?

Thank you all,

Bruno.

I think the fastest way to answer this question is to give it a try. I've tried it on a 1st gen before and it didn't work, but it also didn't hurt the board to try
