Front Glass Replacement Causing Intermittent Touch Screen Issues

I recently replaced the front glass assembly on a Galaxy SIII. The phone functioned normally before the screen replacement. Since replacing the glass, the phone intermittently stops detecting touch on either the display itself or the back and menu buttons. There is no specific identifiable cause for the problem it just seems to occur randomly. The original LCD and touchscreen assembly are still in the phone. I removed the motherboard before replacing the glass and treated the cable connections with contact enhancer prior to reinstalling the motherboard. When the screen acts up, the problem can be reset by putting the display to sleep with the power button and then waking the device back up. Any Ideas.
