Where do the traces go on the logic board of the nano?
I was doing the battery replacement on the nano when I got to the part where I have to solder off the old battery. In doing so I pulled the two of the solder tabs off of the board. I have been able to find the trace for for one of these pads, but cannot find the other. I found what may be it, but I do not want to try it in risk of wrecking the components of the board. I would like to find schematics on where the traces lead, but I know apple discloses most of this information. I have been looking for a answer for days. I hope someone out there knows where they lead.
Please don't tell me it would be cheaper to buy another, I want to fix this one.
Please only helpful responses.
Thanks
Is this a good question?

Thanks Nathan, I did the multimeter like you said but none of them worked, so I decided to just try to connect the battery to two of the three spots. It worked! The only bad thing is I don't know what the third part did. Do you think it was a ground? If it will harm it keeping it like this I would like to dig up some more traces, and check them with the multimeter. I would like to know what you think.
Thanks

Now it is not charging right. It will also sometimes shut off when I unplug it from the charger. Sometimes it will show the charge symbol for a couple of seconds then it will either go back to the fully charged symbol, or no symbol at all. I think I need to look for some more places on the board for it to go. Thanks for all your help, the multimeter idea really helped me in determining where to go next.

I thought I found a spot, the reading on the multimeter was low, I have one of those old ones with the needle arm. So I tried that spot and the ipod white screened. I am pretty sure I broke it. Thanks for all the help you gave me, I did not think there was much of a chance it could be fixed anyway. Thanks for answering my question. If it starts working again I will post.

now its working again. I have no idea what to do with it. Should I keep looking for the trace? Its been a really busy hour, holy crap. Lots of, "o no I broke it, again!"
Like that but with more colorful language.
Thanks for your help

It still white lights now randomly, I have n idea why, but it does. Hopefully I didn't ruin one of the circuits or processors.
