BT keyboard and mouse not connecting. Did everything i could find on internet. reset factory settings, re install maverick, buying new BT dongle (targus), rewriting the kext files. etc etc. nothing works. sometimes the bluetooth bar icon is greyed out with a squiggly line across it. so my guess is that the board for bluetooth is burnt out. now how do i confirm this? thanks.

Have you checked that the keyboard and mouse are working properly? Otherwise, you probably have an issue with the bluetooth board.

THey are not working since there is now bluetooth. Blue tooth not available. But Im currently using the Targus Bluetooth and surprisingly it just worked by itself just today. so my problem is solved.
