I need to know so that I can replace them my self with parts bought on ebay.

I've decided to solder the replacement parts on instead of using wire glue.

What type of soldering paste would you guys recommend?

Devon, post an image of "your" logic board (top and bottom) with your question so we can point those out to you. You will still need at least a soldering iron to remove the existing ports. Also, do keep in mind that "wire glue" will not have any strength to keep the ports properly positioned on the board. There are at least four tabs that are soldered so as to hold the post to the board. I strongly recommend to properly solder the parts.
