New screen, still no touch

Im back this time with an ipod touch.

32gb 3rd generation iPod touch had a cracked screen. I replaced it and touch still doesnt work. Connector looks good. Touch was supposedly good on the other screen too.

Any ideas?

I sold the iPod...probably a fult in the connector itself.

Make sure that the connector is fully connected. They can pop off quite easily.

But first, try entering DFU mode.

How to enter DFU mode:

Plug your device into your computer

Turn off the device by holding the Sleep/Wake or Power button and swiping it off

Hold the power button for 3 seconds

Begin holding the Home button without releasing the Sleep/Power button for 10 seconds

Release the power button and continue holding the home button until you get a popup from iTunes that your device is recognized as being in recovery mode.

Be assured Im no newbie. :) I did a DFU restore and it didnt do squat. what now
