Xbox rings discs or won't play them

I was wondering if anyone know why the Xbox slim rings discs or won't paly them at all sometimes? If so what's the best fix to repair this issue?

I'm not sure what you mean by 'rings' discs. A common fix is to replace the the laser module in the optical drive. There are guides on iFixit for this.

If that does not work, you will probably have to buy a whole new optical drive. Make sure you order the correct one, as there are 4 possible drives used in the 360. You will also have to transfer over the PCB board, and solder the correct wires.

Also, you might want to try using a laser lense cleaning disc. This almost never works.
