Replace/upgrade a broken motherboard

Hi!

I have a 15 inch 2009 MacBook Pro, with a 2.53 ghz processor (it uses the integrated nvida 9400M only) with a broken motherboard (water spill).

On the internet I can only find de 2009 2.66 Ghz motherboard (that also has the nvidia 9600gt, as well as the 9400M).

Can I use this 2.66 ghz motherboard to replace the 2.53 one? Will it fit the case? Does the dual GPUs will give any problems?

The logic boards are very different as the 2.55 GHz unit has a cutout for one fan and the 2.66/2.8/3.06 GHZ model has two (you will need to replace the fan units & heat sink if not supplied with the logic board). Yet the top case part numbers are the same Glossy 661-5244 & Anti-Glare 661-5297. So its physically possible fitting into the case.
