Screen will not turn on.
After charging it, the screen stays gray and does not boot up.

Has there been any work performed on the device? Was it dropped? Exposed to liquid, possibly?

yes my son dropped it. Is it possible a lead could have broken or become damaged? the back light comes on but nothing else.

Sounds like you have a bad LCD, is it under warranty?
