Dual Drive conversion, home folder relocation

I've just completed the Optical Drive to SSD conversion, followed your excellent guide. My plan is to use the SSD to run the software & keep the Hard Disk as a data storage drive. Installed a clean OS Mavericks on SSD, put a single partition on Hard Disk, which wipes the drive. Had the iMac running on SSD, seemed ok. When it came to moving the main User to the Hard Disk from the SSD using Terminal commands found online using a 2nd Admin User Account ( Here http://computers.tutsplus.com/tutorials/... ) Logged out, restarted but all I get is the grey screen and the spinning wheel. Do you have a step by step technique to move my User Folder off the SSD and onto the now Data Hard Disk? Is is possibly a faulty caddy? Any help is much appreciated after a frustrating week of dealing with this.

Read this thread. If you need an Apple Id use the one you created with your OS or just make another (they are free).
