My iPad fell in the water and everything was working except LCD

So my iPad fell into water and after it had dried up the LCD was not working so I decided to buy one online because the wifi sound and buttons were working because I could use Siri and play music but I just finished putting back the new LCD and the screen is still not turning on (showing any image) ... Can you help me out ?

How did you resolve your water issue? did you clean the iPad at all? have you checked for corrosion? Checked the backlight coil etc. for failure?

More than likely there was damage to the LCD connector this needs to be examined under a microscope to see.
