Hi all have a iPhone 4 here and the gold prong that's on the motherboard at the top has broken off and now my wifi is weak has any1 a tryed and tested fix for this? Is there any way to make a metal jumper?

The only thing I've ever done that worked was folding a wedge of aluminum foil until it wedged in firmly and then putting one drop of super glue on one edge to keep it in place. Very improvised, but worked for me...

Only when im very close to the router I have one bar of Wifi. I have the same problem, the gold prong broke off and I still have it. Repairshop could not solder it back and say it should work without.
I superglued it back but signal just as weak. Im sure it is a grounding clip for the Wifi, read confusing posts here, some say Wifi should work with or without the connector.
Have to find a way to resolder it back.
I will post the fix here if it works...
