How to check for compatible internal hard drive for my MacBook Pro?

I dropped my late 2011 13" MacBook Pro and I have to replace my hard drive. I'm attempting to do the fix myself, but I'm worried that I'll buy the wrong hard drive. How do I check for compatibility? Thank you.
