MacBook Core 2 Duo Model A1181 not charging

Replacement Magsafe connector got super hot using 60w charger with new 3rd party battery. Hot enough there was damage. Replaced the charger and magsafe. Now have replaced internal magsafe connection as well. No charging going on, no indicator battery condition is bad, just not charged. Reset SMC. What to consider next? Have tried an alternate proven working charger and connector. Computer does start up fine on AC.

I guess 3rd party to me means not OEM or Apple manufacture. "Description: Newer Technology NuPower 60.5 Watt-Hour Battery for MacBook 13.3"

I would contact newer they are very reputable and maybe they can tell you if they've had a bad batch of batteries (it happens to everyone Apple had to recall a bunch of theirs).
