Headphone Issue Remains: Only plays through right after repair

I have followed the tutorial and replaced my headphone jack assembly. The headphone jack still plays through the right channel only. I have tried no less than 12 different 3.5mm aux cords and headphones including different brands. I have dissasembled the phone three times to double check my repair and make sure everything is seated the way I think it should be. I am missing some connection though. Slight pressure towards the phone and spinning the headphone jack plug usually gets most headphones to register and play through the right while I continue to apply pressure. Is there a plug or connection I may have missed. I am sure I may have missed something but can't seem to diagnose the cause.

Answer this question I have this problem too

I have the same problem, replaced the loudspeaker, but the issue continues. Alreadly tried cleaning up the jack but no sound through the right earbud. Even if I spin the headphone jack or apply pressure it still won't work. My brother bought this phone one year ago and the headphones used to work.

I was having the same issue and I was very upset because it had worked fine when I first got it. I messed around with it and solved my problem by going to settings>accessibility (from the my device option)>Sound balance...then I set the gague in middle. I noticed it had reset itself all the way to right. That solved it all!
