Ricardo - This model can support a max of 2GB and only that.
The memory interface chip used in this system does not have the address lines enabled to access more than 2GB. 1 GB PC2-5300 (667 MHz) DDR2 SO-DIMM per slot.
I should also point out this model is a 32bit CPU and can't run the newer 64Bit OS's or apps. So the usefulness of this system is limited. You are likely to encounter limitations here surfing on the internet and may not be secure. Using it off line for word processing or other light to mid level uses you should be fine.
I wouldn't put to much into this system as its life span is limited.
