Can I swap 09 2.66 logic board for early 09 iMac 2.93?

My logic board is failing. the mini display port and ethernet connectors do not work. Instead of just replacing the board with another 2.66, will the 2.93 from a 24" early 2009 fit? Any other issues to be aware of?

No - you can not put a 24" board in a 20" box.
