Adapting IR receiver to iMac g5

Is it posible to adapt the IR receiver from the iMac g5 with iSight to this model? Some way to place it or connect ir to the motherboard ir something?

Sorry, no you can't take the current IR receiver and convert it to an iSight camera. The logic on the logic board is not there to plug the camera into.

A better option is to get a USB camera which you can anchor on the top of the display.

What i was saying: If i could take the IR receiver, and connect it to the motherboard. Of the first G5 model? The one that doesn't has IR.

Sorry no, same issue, the logic board doesn't provide a way to connect it as the system uses a different method of connection.
