HDD Flex cable 2010 vs 2011

The HDD flex cable for the 2011 mbp 13 looks the same as the 2010mbp13, though they have different part numbers. 821-1226-A and 821-0814-A respectively.

Can anyone confirm that they are the same?

My brother has a problem with 1226 cable and he ordered two pieces from ebay and it works fine. I have now the same problem with 0814 but the cable 1226 isn't working. So it looks like these are different cables not just p/n.
