Won't boot on internal drive after battery replacement

I just changed the battery on my Macbook pro 13" and now when I start it up I just get a Os X Utilities page asking me to either restore from Backup, reinstall Os X or use disk utility.

The hard drive seems still to be working since I verified it with disk utility, bit it won't start up on it.

What shall i do?

Thanks for any tip!

Well, do what it asks, run Disk Utilities and see if there's a problem.

Well I did and it said the drive is ok. But I still can't boot on it!

It still goes directly to the OS X utility page.

I could no longer boot to my newly installed Samsung SSD (replacing the original HDD) after changing the battery.

But the SSD would boot when connected externally via USB.

I discovered that the cable from the disk drive to the motherboard had been dislodged at the motherboard.

Once this was re-seated and tight, the SSD showed up again!
