IPad 2 replacement glass not sticking down?

Replaced a cracked IPad 2 screen and the new screen is lifting up/seperating from the base. I have tried pressing the screen down over night with books and it still starts to come up with use.

How do I get the screen to stick down?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

you need to clean out the old adhesive real well and replace the plastic bezel that holds the glass... http://www.ebay.com/bhp/ipad-2-plastic-b...

Cleaned old adhesive well. Does the bezel make a big difference in the new glass sticking?

I have the same issue with my iPad. I even replaced the Digitizer bezel and taped it down with the 3M adhesive tape. On the same side the iPad the adhesive has let go holding the bezel down and in another area the adhesive has let so of the digitizer. I'm thinking that it's a cheap tape because there is no glass shards. So I just purchased some new premium tape and I'll be fixing the iPad again with the new tape. Check out the tape at http://www.etechparts.com/Premium-Adhesi... and you might find this stuff more helpful than what you're currently using.

it does because it is a very thin piece of plastic, sometimes when removing the broken digi, the bezel gets bent or warped
