How to fix a black screen

Hi my Samsung galaxy s won't turn on it's screen every time I turned it on the bottom buttons like the home and menus light up and you can hear it turn on but the screen stays black if you want me i can send you a video of it to explain it better my email address is reuropa84@gmail.com thank you
