Could I use tin foil to replace teeth on logic board?

I know its a ridiculous question but yea my iphone is missing a tooth from were you connect the dock cable and since aluminum conducts electricity what came up to mind is to apply a small amount of tinfoil in between the missing tooth to see if it would stop overheating sorry if a dumb question but i am desperate and dont have a soldering gun.

Well the tin foil is a conductor but is not going to fix your problem. Also it's not safe to use tin foil. I would recomend you to order a spare part over the internet and change it. It's easier and safer.
