MacBook not charging, no power, runs on battery ok

Hi there,

Thanks in advance for any help on this:

Macbook´s Magsafe power adapter show´s constantly green light, but:

Macbook does not charge battery and:

Macbook can´t run without battery on MagSafe power only, but:

Macbook runs fine with battery externally charged (can load battery in second macbook, same build).

Did already:

Switch MacSafe adapter with same builds.

Clean Macsafe connector contacts. (Pins seem ok)

Clean internal battery connector.

Replace MacSafe board. (original part).

Reset all there is to reset.

If macbook runs on externally loaded battery, software/machine seems ok.

Seems it just can´t draw power through the adapter, though green light says it does.

As said before thanks for any knowledge on this !

Have you tried a different battery (from the second macbook) to see if it will charge? I think that hardware/software in the battery might be the source of the problem.

Tried several batteries, none of them are charging.

I think the real clue is, that the macbook can´t run WITHOUT battery.

So power does not reach the device though green light on charger says it does.

Do you think that the clue, that the MB cant run WITHOUT battery (only with the MacSafe charger in) rules out , that the battery connector is involved ?

It looks like it just cant draw power, though the green light says it does.

My other Macbook runs fine without battery (CPU speed reduced by system).

Battery charging: no
