Won't charge, bought a new battery, still won't charge

I bought this GBASP off of Craigslist, and the seller said they had lost the charger, but the system worked fine. Apparently, it would not charge when I brought it home. Looking up the problem online and deciding it was a battery issue, I bought a new battery to try and fix it, which did absolutely nothing.

Anything?
