Battery Life and Compatibility?

According to the Technical Specifications my Macbook Pro has up to 7 hrs wireless web browsing and 2-3 hrs of intense usage having a built-in 77.5-watt-hour lithium-polymer battery.

Due to having graphic switching turned off as the Intel 3000 GPU has some small problems and glitches sometimes I have it running the dedicated AMD Radeon HD 6750M 512 MB in order to fix the problem.

This means I have about 4 hrs of wireless web browsing and about 1.5-2 hrs of intense usage

Is it possible to upgrade the battery to a better one? Or perhaps a mod in order to have two running at the same time?

Options

Internally? No - there is a company that makes an external battery, and an auto charger/quick charger. That might fit your needs, or your could start your mod with.
