Can I upgrade from Wireless G to N?

History

Hi Guys, I was wondering if there is a way to upgrade the wireless of the Mac Mini A1176 from Wireless G to N. Currently - wireless G is operating poorly (Mac Mini)and I'm contemplating acquiring and Airport Express for improved home networking between my late '09 iMac Geforce 9400m, Mac Mini A1176 2ghz, 3gb, 120hd and 2 WinPc's.

Any ideas on where I might get my hands on a wireless N for this unit and if it would be compatible with the system and also if it well be an easy d.i.y for a novice.

Robert.

Yes you can upgrade it. Here's one route: http://www.quickertek.com/products/acard...

Thanks comrade, looks like it would great for what I'd like to do, though I was contemplating something more internal, like actually replacing what is existing with an updated version (if that in it's self is even possible).

Robert Antoine,

But this is something I could with, i'll get some further feed back from end users, hear what they're saying then make my move, many thanks again for your prompt response. Robert.

I use a MAX POWER USB wireless N from Newer technology model MXP802NU2C. It comes with a cable and a dock on the end, that can be placed anywhere, if it gets in the way of other usb ports, like say, on a MacBook, but I primarily use it on the Mac mini. This unit is $49.99. It also picks up other wifi's in the neighborhood, and it is also b and g as well. Comes with software for BOTH Mac and pc.
