I replaced a magsafe port on my macbook and now it won't power on! I plug in my charger and it goes from green to the orange showing that it is charging. Very frustrated. The fix wasn't extremely difficult but frustrated that I can't figure out why it won't power on now. Can anyone help?

Recheck all your connectors(tions) - most times this is a connector that "looks" or "seems" OK but in fact is lose, not snapped in, locked down.

I Went through and reconnected everything and it still will not power on! Hope I didn't short something out, may have to bring it in and have it looked at.

how much does it cost ti replace a macsafe charging port? half of the rubber coating on mine seems to have either melted or peeled off
