Touch Location Incorrect after screen replacemnt. Fixable?

I have replaced 2 screens on 2 4th Gen iPods now, both of them mine. This problem occurred about a month after replacement on both of them. The touch locations become incorrect, and in some locations does not work at all, also occasionally one touch will set of a sequence of them, sometime triggering up to 20 virtual touches I have not made. Does anyone know a fix for this?

Edward, these error are usually caused by an error in the digitizer circuitry. I would replace it once more and talk to the vendor where you got the original digitizer from. There is of course always a likelihood that it is a bad digitizer IC, but start with the easier part, the digitizer itself.
