How can I replace my digitizer when the suction cup won't stick?

I have the whole front panel assembly. I took the screws at the bottom out and attempted to pry the screen off with the suction cup. It wouldn't adhere because my screen is so shattered. I have tried tape on the screen to give the suction cup something to adhere to but it didn't work. I just need to know how to get the broken screen off so that I can install the new one.

use a scalpel/safety razor/very fine screw driver and insert it in the bottom left corner/along bottom edge between glass and black edge and slide the screen towards the top so you can lever your tool under the edge of the black midframe. You should then be able to get your finger nail under the edge and lift the display up.

Try glue a piece of glass then use the suction cup. The front panel is trashed anyway so do whatever you can
