What is this part? Where does it go?

https://plus.google.com/u/0/103899840962...

My friend tried to fix my broken screen but screwed it up (now I have a white screen). When I took the phone back apart, I found this square black rubber piece behind the rear camera that I don't see on any takedown walk-throughs.

It was sitting freely behind the rear camera on top of the opening on the faceplate.

It is a square, black piece of very thin rubber.

On one side of the piece, it has an edge/ lip that goes along two adjacent sides and another very tiny edge that is only on the corner of the opposite side.

It's about 1cm x 1cm.

I am following iFixit's guide for this takedown and reassemble, but also have searched many other troubleshooting guides, parts stores, and concurrently watching several youtube how-to videos and I don't see this piece anywhere. Does anyone know what it is and where it goes? I suspect it came off another piece and my colleague just put it behind the rear camera because it seemed to fit, but any help identifying it and putting it where it belongs would be greatly appreciated.

Answer this question I have this problem too

I can't see the picture as it just loads a white page on Google + :(

However, from your description I believe it to be the piece on the logic board that clips on where the lcd and digitizer flex's cross from beneath to the top of the logic board, It is to protect the flex from tearing or suffering damage. This may not be correct but this part tends to come lose a lot after a repair and is rather tricky to identify without knowing about it :)
