iPod touch sleep button jammed/screen wont work

Hey!

I placed my ipod in my pocket today and after taking it out I found the sleep/awake button jammed. It was cleaned and there are no visable things stuck in there. Yet it wont unstick. It got to the point where the screen itself doesn't work when touched. Th volume and home buttons work fine. It is not under warenty. Is there anything I can do?

Hi !

One of the epicest fails of Apple on iDevices is the power button. This is only a plastic/metallic button that presses a spring contained in a sensor cable. After appox (with a normal use) 1 1/2 - 2 years, this spring may no longer work and your power button may look stuck.

I had this problem on many 4th gen iPods & iPhones but fortunately, the sensor cable can be replaced easily if you can keep focused and patient for a whole our. Follow the links below to find all you need.

Hoping to have helped you !
