Hey Guys,

I changed the lcd on my a1370 srnr. DQX without unplugging the battery now i have the same problem with the led backlight, the display is working fine.

Maybe someone can give me some information where i can find the fuse for the led backlight on my logic board and which type of fuse i need to order.

Can the fuse be replaced without soldering iron?

Thx for your help,

HJS

HJS, "Can the fuse be replaced without soldering iron?" a definite "no".Double check the last three digits of your serial number, I do not get a MBA at all. also, if you can post an image of your logic board so we can point out the parts you are looking for.

this the srnr. from the a1370 bottom cover, do you need the srnr from the logic board?

thx

that might help more. the DQX is not showing up for me. If you can, look at the board, there should be a 830-xxxx number,

HJS, this is what I found on my schematic. I would still like to triple check, so a good part number for the logic board would be great. Anyhow, you will have to solder the fuse. It is an SMD component and as such not an easy fix, but not impossible if you have some soldering experience. Hope this helps, good luck.
