Are the iPhone 4 and 4s LCD's the same?

I have taken apart several iphone 4's and a couple 4s's with cracked glass, but functioning LCD/Digitizer and have saved them all, I can't remember which ones are 4 and 4s, could someone tell me how to differentiate between the two? Also, I have just decided to try to experiment separating the LCD from the broken digitizer using a little heat and the iSesamo opening tool to pull the lcd off the broken glass, my question is, if I buy the glass specific for the 4 or 4s, will the lcd/digitizer i pulled off work correctly for either the 4 or 4s? Or should I try to figure out if the LCD was off a 4 or 4s FIRST and THEN buy the correct glass to reattach? I could end up saving some good money here per repair but I want to make sure I don't put the wrong lcd/digitizer on the wrong glass in the wrong phone...

If you can get the glass of the digatizer then fair play til you.. The glass is the same in the 4 and 4/s it's the little brackets on the screen were you screw them into the mid frame are located different on the 4 and 4/s
