Why does my iPhone screen goes white when I I turned on?

hello i just got a question

i have an iphone 4s but a couple of days ago the screen started to act weird.

when i turned on the screen goes all white with colored lines then i have to reset it and it goes back to normal but when i try to take a picture the screen starts to flash then it goes black so i go to my pictures and the phone its okay so i know there is nothing wrong with the camera

does anyone know what the problem could be?

Options

if a hard reset doesn't do it, check that the connector is secure. If not, then it could simply be that the LCD is going out -- I've seen new LCD's, on rare occasions, go out after a few hours, or even days.
