How to replace steam button?

I have looked all over the place and cannot find any specific instructions or help for replacing the steam button switch. I bought a used machine and the steam button wouldn't depress. Opened it up to find that it had melted and broken off inside. I have ordered a new steam button switch. It seems simple to disconnect the back half from its three connectors, but I cannot figure out how to get the front half of the switch/button out. Thanks in advance!

I don't have one in front of me to reference, but if I remember correctly there are two tabs on the sides of the switch (inside the machine) that you need to squeeze in order to slide the switch out. It should come out of the front of the machine, and the new one should click into place when you put it in.
