Will any MacBook Pro SATA drive cable fit 13" Retina MacBook Pro?

I'm wondering if the SSD cable in the 13" Retina MacBook Pro (Late 2012) can be replaced with a SATA optical or HDD cable from a non-Retina MacBook Pro. Specifically, if the SATA header on the 13" Retina MBP mainboard is compatible with other MacBook Pros to facilitate adapting SATA and/or mSATA drives to the 13" Retina MBP for a cheaper upgrade solution.

don't bother arguing if an SSD can fit in the location or not as it has no bearing on the question, so please stick to the specifics of the question asked, thank you.

No - it uses a proprietary synchronous NAND instead of the more commonly utilized Asynchronous NAND connector. I don't know where you'd find one.
