Is it necessary to change the loud speaker ringer buzzer?

My iPhone 4 GSM (Model A1332) had a charging issue with dock connector, so I approached a local service center and he used a new dock connector flex cable along with it he also used a new loud speaker ringer buzzer (Old ringer buzzer was working fine without any issues).

My question is - Is it necessary to change the loud speaker ringer buzzer along with the dock connector? i.e., is dock connector and ringer buzzer are tightly coupled when one is changed other on has to be changed?
