when my iPod has earphones plugged into it i cant really hear it sounds like its somebody is singing acapella in my ear and i cant hear the instruments in the song. but when i take the headphones out i can hear it just find i think its a shortage in my ear piece part do any one know where i can getit fixed at in Dayton Ohio

I had this problem and I discovered pocket lint jammed into the headphone jack, preventing my headphones from fully seating. I used a toothpick and carefully removed loads and loads of pocket lint :/
Working great now!
