Why does not work only a few keys?

History

Hi I met a strange problem. Morning and everything worked after turning off the CapsLock key at some point the keyboard of my PowerBook G4 17''/ 1.33/10.5 crazy. Some keys stopped working and more specifically the left side /Caps Lock / § /`/ the right side /= / [/ F12 / arrow up and right /I read unless all parties to the support from Apple but have not found a similar problem.

Did you clean the keyboard with liquid or spilled liquid on the keyboard before the malfunction ?

Follow this guide: Installing PowerBook G4 Aluminum 17" 1-1.67 GHz Keyboard (1.67 GHz LR)

to remove the keyboard. The reseat the cable connecting the keyboard to the logic board. Use a small piece of electrical tape to secure it in place.

No, 6 months ago had cleared the entire computer. Then he worked without problems.

great thanks for tip. it was the fastest computer repair. strong pressed the case between spacebar and trackpad and everything works.
