Y ou need a mini dvi to hdmi connector such as the StarTech.com Mini DVI to HDMI Video Cable Adapter for MacBooks and iMacs - Video adapter - Male Apple mini-DVI to FeM 19 pin HDMI Type A

This iMac came before mini DVI
Wrong again rab. Please note this was the start of the Intel machines. Thanks for another downvote.

If DVI to HDMI is too expensive for you then DVI to VGA will work as well.

$12 is a bit more than 37 cents, more options is always better for people with unknown budgets.
