Maximum Ram upgrade? can it be upgraded to 8gb?

can i ask you if i could uprade my white macbook 2.1ghz ram up to 8gb,

right now my mac does have 3gb of ram and it's fast since im only using my mac for email and college, but im using ilife for some editing. my question is can i upgrade this mac to 8gb? beacause i only see 4gb is the maximum ram upgrade.

It supposedly only supports 4Gb maximum, but it's not fully utilized according to this site due to hardware constraints. If you want the whole thing behind it, please read this link.

I am using 2+4GB for couple of months (~5 or so) => 6GB alltogether.

both are Corsair

4GB: VS4GSDS800D2 G

2GB: VS4GSDSKIT800D2

I've no issues at all with it.
