Why my TV doesn't power?

I want to repair a Samsung CK3335Z CRT TV. It has no power (the power LED does not turn on). I have checked for blown capacitors but there seem to be none. There is an increasing pitch buzzing noise when I press the power button, which decreases and eventually stops when I press the button again. It comes from somewhere between a transformer and some capacitors.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

as you know crt tvs have HIGH VOLTAGE danger. try to find its service manual on the web......

there are flow charts for troubleshooting ....

usually bad capacitors are a common trouble....a bad capacitor maybe not popped up........

as you know the electrolytic capacitors are wet type....so they get dry by passing the time....

check them with an ESR meter....it is a simple circuit....you may DIY .
